The first teaser for Squid Game’s eagerly awaited second season has finally been released by Netflix.
A 17-second snippet from Squid Game Season 2 was posted by Netflix on their official X/Twitter account. The first season ends abruptly, as the main character Seong Gi-hun is shown threatening the person on the other end of the phone in an attempt to figure out who is controlling the games. A new video that Netflix has posted to YouTube features this similar scene and teases a number of movies and TV series that will be available to stream on the platform in 2024.Netflix publicly confirmed in a statement that accompanied the video that the second season will be available on the service later this year. Naturally, Netflix has previously disclosed the Squid Game Season 2 release window. Netflix subtly revealed in its earnings report that it planned to broadcast Squid Game in 2024 along with a number of other titles, including Bridgerton Season 3.
The gallery below shows some fresh image stills from Squid Game 2’s second season, which were posted on the Netflix-owned website TUDUM. Since Netflix revealed it was extending the South Korean series for a second season, there hasn’t been much news about Squid Game Season 2. In June of last year, Netflix said that Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, and Yang Dong-geun will be joining the cast of Season 2, along with the return of Season 1 actors Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo.

Netflix debuted new teasers for some of the highly anticipated movies and TV shows of the year on Thursday.
“I’ll track you down. In the first official clip from “Squid Game” Season 2, Gi-hun says over the phone, hinting that the game is far from over, according to “Variety. Cameron Diaz, who co-stars with Jamie Foxx in the new action-comedy “Back in Action,” marks her comeback to acting as an ex-spy who comes out of retirement. The pair may be seen fending off opponents in a number of high-octane action scenes in the sizzle reel.
According to “Variety,” Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon: Part 2 – The Scargiver,” which opens on April 19 and features some spectacular war scenes to follow the previous picture from December 2023, is one of the other new releases.
